Pro Puu is a modern guild of wood professionals. The members of Pro Puu, counting 60 today, with three honorary members, are cabinetmakers, designers and architects. Craftsmen and designers interested in the goals and objectives of the association may apply for membership.
Membership
Main Goals of Pro Puu are to act as a link between craftsmen and designers and to improve craftsmanship, internal quality control and networking among professionals. Pro Puu association also preserves traditional woodworking techniques and craftsmanship and promotes the use of Finnish wood in furniture, interiors and buildings.
Craftsmen and designers interested in the goals and objectives of the association are welcome to apply for membership.
Supervising board
Pro Puu –association has six member in supervising board in 2018-2019.
They are Markku Tonttila (Chairman), Tapio Anttila, Mikko Kentta, Tapio Kangasniemi, Timo Suutari ja Harri Talvio.
